Micronics Announces Promotion of Brenda Westphal to VP, Human Resources

Chattanooga, TN, USA – February 14, 2022 – The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group is very pleased to announce the promotion of Brenda Westphal to Vice President of Human Resources, effective immediately. In this expanded role, Brenda will serve as a member of the Executive Leadership team and have global responsibility for Micronics’ Human Resources, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and Team Development for all locations in support of Micronics’ strategic business objectives.

Brenda joined Micronics in 2018 in Portsmouth, NH, and relocated to the company’s new Chattanooga, TN headquarters in 2020.

Brenda has had extensive experience in strategic Human Resources and organizational development in a variety of manufacturing environments. Prior to joining Micronics, she held progressive human resource management roles in GE Healthcare, Maine Manufacturing, and GVS Filtration.

She has been playing a key role in Micronics’ implementation of goal deployment and lean principles, which have been foundational to Micronics’ continuous improvement culture. Brenda holds a B.S. in Business Studies from Southern New Hampshire University with a dual concentration in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.
