Fred Byrd Joins Micronics Engineered Filtration Group as Southeast Regional Sales Manager for Filter Press Products & Services

January 16, 2018 – The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group announces that Fred Byrd has joined the Company as Regional Sales Manager for the Southeast Region. Fred will be responsible for regional sales of Micronics’ filter press, filter cloth, filter plate, parts & accessories, and service offerings to our valued customers in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Fred is a seasoned filtration industry sales professional with experience at Pall Corporation (division of Danaher), Filter Specialists, Inc. (FSI), Total Filtration Services, and PPG Industries. He is knowledgeable in a host of end-markets including chemical manufacturing, general industrial, food and beverage, and automotive.

Fred will report to Jason Wettstaedt, Vice President of Sales, North America, for the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group.

Fred and his wife Katherine reside in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina. When not working, Fred enjoys college football, spending time with his extended family and pups, and everything outdoors.
